Deviation Actions
I've just been tagged and it just seemed interesting to me to do this sorta thing. I've never done it before, so it'll be a long shot. There are few rules to this and they are as follows:
1. Post these rules.
2. Tell 10 things about yourself.
3. Tag at least 10 people from your friends list(or watchers).
4. Comment on each tagged person's page saying they've been tagged.
5. NO TAG BACKS.
Get it? Got it... just in case? Good! So, here I go then:
1.) I'm a 22-year-old African American woman.
2.) I love aliens and draw them at every chance I get. Nowadays, though, I barely get any free time to do so, but the ones I've drawn already are enough for me.
3.) I'm a decent gamer and I only play games I know I'll feel comfortable playing (The Ratchet and Clank series, Street Fighter, Tekken, Sonic, Mario, etc.).
4.) Not only am I an alien junkie, I'm also quite an animal junkie. I seem to know and love all animals simultaneously. Mostly, I have the knowledge of dogs, cats, fishes, reptiles, and birds. Insects and plants aren't my strongsuits.
5.) I am a HUGE Ibuki fan! Enough said, hence my profile icon.
6.) Cars (in general, not the Pixar movies) always fascinate me, no matter what. My favorite car of all time is the Ford Fiesta, which is also my dream car. My second favorite would be the beautiful BMW i8.
7.) My other favorite activities include watching TV, mostly GSN (Game Show Network), Family Guy on either TBS or Fox, and some good movies on HBO or Starz, writing fanfiction based off of Street Fighter, Lilo and Stitch, and Tekken mostly, and spending time with my small family of my parents, two sisters, seven-year-old niece, and dog named Khloe.
8.) I'm also a huge Pixar fan and part-time "follower". I've seen almost all of their short films (I haven't seen only two of them) and I've been counting their number of films. "Brave" is their best work in my book! It IS a must see!!
9.) My other favorite movie genres are comedy, action, and maybe a little horror and/or suspense, if I feel up for it. I tried to get into the "Child's Play" movies and it actually worked to perfection. I'm not a huge fan of it though.
10.) I'm struggling to find a better job suitable to my Associate's Degree in Visual Communications, which are the kind of jobs that are some kinda scarce where I live. I don't wanna work at McDonald's forever!
Well, there you have it. It was pretty hard to choose what to write, but it was worth it. I've been tagged and you all should be as well:

Emergency Commissions!!!
The holidays are right around the corner and X (formerly known as Twitter) had people coming at me for them to pay THEM to do art for me for a couple of months now! As a result, I'm nearly broke with four... count 'em... FOUR bank loans to pay back because of them. I'm trying every side hustle I can find, but doing these commissions is my top priority at this rate! If it's the prices of the commissions that's an issue, I can negotiate lower prices for ya, but if somebody, anybody can help me out, I would be eternally grateful. I put my heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into creating these hand drawn masterpieces of mine and you have to admit that a good majority of them look impressive. I'm willing to even draw outside of my comfort zone for you as well, but you know I don't do violence, hate, NSFW, or nudity. Those are the only rules here. Also, if you're feeling extra generous, that would be an absolute plus. Please do drop me a note or start a chat if you're interested.
I'm starting commissions soon!
I haven't officially started them yet, but tomorrow, I will finally join the art commission bandwagon. I'm doing this not only as a crucial side hustle, but it's also a way to really give my art skills an upgrade. I sure do hope you'll look forward to working with me once I start commissions. There will be more info on them by then. Stay tuned!
Long Awaited Update
I know I haven't been writing too many journals lately because of being side-tracked with life in general, but since the new year is slowly approaching, might as well give you an update on what I'll be doing for the rest of this year and beyond. First of all, I appreciate all the faves and support from all of my watchers and even from non-watchers. Secondly, since my Zakamon Project is really coming together, I've decided to redesign some very old designs that could really use it and give all of their stats and information a major revamp as well. I realized that those stats on some of the older ones didn't make any sense to me and I'm gonna fix it. These redesigns will NOT be disappointing. I promise. Secondly, I've only made two OCs related to this project: the creator Zak Kavaashi himself and his assistant/caretaker Opolo Ferrotuso. There are many more characters I have to create to counter with them, especially after I discovered that I made Zak a love interest named Tiffany.
Super late Happy New Year! LOL
Y'all see the title! Aside from that, I just wanna say that I'm so proud of myself for making so much more art last year. This year will be even better. At least two new arts per month will happen, but it'll be like 90 percent traditional. The digital art will be on hiatus for a while until I can actually afford Photoshop. I know there are other cheaper alternatives out there, but they're not as good as Photoshop. I've been using it since high school (from 2005 onward) and I just can't feel comfortable around other versions. Regardless, I vow to make more new characters, new Zakamon, and probably brand new creatures that aren't related to my Zakamon collection this year. Be on the sharp lookout for 'em and hope ya'll will stay safe this year. I know I will.
